Copyright and Content Removal

Version: 2026-08-05

Reporting

Signed-in residents can choose Copyright in the report flow. Rights holders who cannot use an account may contact admin@example.com. Send one notice per work or clearly identified group and include:

  • your name, contact details, and authority to act for the rights holder;
  • identification of the protected work and the exact StaticTown URL or content identifier;
  • a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized; and
  • a statement that the information is accurate, plus the signature and any declaration required where you live.

Do not send passwords, identity documents, or unrelated personal data. Knowingly false claims may cause harm and legal liability.

Review, removal, and counter-notice

The operator will verify that a notice is complete, preserve only necessary evidence, restrict content when justified, notify the affected resident where lawful, and offer a counter-notice path when applicable. Restoration depends on the governing process, response deadline, and whether the claimant begins a qualifying legal action.

Jurisdiction-specific setup

This page is a general intake process, not a claim that StaticTown has appointed or registered a DMCA designated agent. A United States launch must complete the statutory agent and repeat-infringer review if applicable. Other launches must implement their local notice, platform-liability, court-order, and appeal duties. Urgent removal may also require a CDN purge after the moderation action.
